Destinys sick weekend

Destinys Christmas tree!! It was at Joeys shop at are last base. So when I took it out I didn't know where to put it..so I thought it would be nice in her room:D She loves it! She turns the light on every day & turns it off at night just before bed time.

Destiny's first hand painted Christmas ornaments. She was sick this weekend & so Joey went to the store & got her some stuff to do. He got her a canves as well...but she really wanted to paint the ornaments. A classic keepsake that can be treasured for a year after year. And, it's extra special when your child did it all by her self. She was so happy afterwards she told me to put them on the tree, but Joey picked her up & helped her do it. We tryed keeping her busy while in bed or the couch!! We stayed in all weekend watching movies, coloring, painting,and I went over some of her school stuff with her too.

My Artist

The Painting is Reindeers flying in the sky with a moon & stars at night. Doesn't it look alittle bit like a van gogh painting!!! :) LOL She loves painting she would paint all day if I let her..I have a big box of all her paintings, but I'm throwing some away..I'm just keeping some. I love for kids to paint. I think it helps them with there creative side. So now I'm going to get her a canvas & see how she does with that. I do have a small one she painted when she was two..I'm now looking for it in the garage so I can put that up again.

Chopsticks!!!

Destiny loves what she calls "Kung fu Panda" Food. We go down to eat at the food court on Base.She always wants to eat noodles...so one night Joey was doing a toy drive at the BX & afterwards got some take out. She was so happy.. she wanted to eat with chopsticks & she did it!!! not all that great but she had fun. So I had to take a pic of her. So now when I make anything at home she wants to use chopsticks LOL:D
